SCRANTON, PA – Members of the Little Sisters of the Poor’s hospitality club gathered on Wednesday, Dec. 11 for an afternoon of Christmas fun with the residents of Holy Family Residence. During their visit, the students helped the residents decorate their Christmas trees. Following this activity, the group watched movies and snacked on hot chocolate and Christmas cookies.
The hospitality club, which meets several times a year and is open to girls ages 12-18, works closely with the Little Sisters to build their mission of caring for the elderly poor.
