The Little Sisters of the Poor invite the community to their weekly holy hour for vocations every Friday at 4:15 p.m. in the chapel of Holy Family Residence, 2500 Adams Ave. The Holy Hour includes the rosary, evening prayer (vespers), and benediction.
The Little Sisters of the Poor, who have been serving the elderly poor in Northeastern Pennsylvania since 1908, work closely with staff, volunteers, and benefactors in creating a family spirit for the residents. They welcome the elderly who have limited funds and provide for their needs so they can live their last years in an atmosphere of respect, dignity, and love.
