On Wednesday, July 26, the feast of St. Anne, the Little Sisters hosted a special summer carnival on the back patio at of our home. Residents, families, friends, and staff enjoyed an afternoon of fun in the sun filled with great food, games, and entertainment.
To start the party off, the kitchen served a delicious lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, and other picnic items that everyone enjoyed.
As the afternoon hours passed, the kids (and adults too!) participated in several fun activities including a water balloon toss contest, a pie eating contest, and swift rides down a giant, inflatable water slide. To cap off the afternoon, everyone enjoyed a visit from the Chilly Willy ice cream truck as Father Ruth captivated the hearts of the crowd with his annual magic show.
