What’s better than sitting outside in the sunshine on the first beautiful day of spring? Sitting outside in the sunshine, eating ice cream, and celebrating the return of Sister Laurelliya to Scranton, that’s what!
For the past three weeks, Sister has been in her home country of Sri Lanka on her family visit. Since these visits only occur every three years, you can imagine how much joy Sister experienced at the sight of her family!
Although Sister was sad to end her trip, she was also anxious to return to the United States to her “Holy Family.” And, we were certainly happy to welcome her home at our little celebration this afternoon.
